Little Bubbles Terms & Conditions

Little Bubbles reserve the right to make amendments to our terms and conditions at any time to reflect changes in our business or statutory requirements. Changes will be posted onsite and if necessary, emailed to the customers. Once changes have been posted they are deemed as current. The safety and wellbeing of Little Bubbles customers and staff are our priority at all times.

Teachers

Please be assured that all Little Bubbles staff and swimming instructors are DBS checked. All swimming instructors hold the relevant teaching qualification from either Amateur Swimming Association (Swim England/ASA) OR The Swimming Teachers Association (STA)

Little bubbles will try to ensure that our customers receive the same swimming instructor at all times however should a teacher fall ill, be on leave or holiday we may need to provide an alternative teacher. This will not affect the quality of the lesson provided.

Data Protection

General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

We are fully compliant with GDPR and would like to reassure all our participants that we only collect the necessary and relevant information that is needed for the enrolment process at our facility. This information is kept as a secure electronic file that is only shared with the relevant staff throughout your time at little bubbles. We keep in touch with you for a period of 6 month after leaving and your enrolment information is held for tax purposes for a period of 7 years. We do not pass your information onto any third party.

Lesson prices and payments

There are no set terms at Little Bubbles as lessons are paid for monthly in advance. Payments are worked out annually to reflect how many lessons there ae during the duration of the year and then equally spread out over 12 months, which makes the payment the same amount each month apart from the 1st one dependent on when you sign up.

Payments are required by direct debit or standing order, on or before the last day of each month.

Classes can be joined at any point during a month.

Once payment is received there are no refunds given irrespective of the reason.

Cancellation of lessons

If you wish to cancel your lessons at Little Bubbles, we require TWO weeks’ notice before the end of each month. Any lessons not attended due to you cancelling are non-refundable or transferrable.

Any cancellation after the 2 weeks’ notice period, you will still have to pay the following months lessons in full.

Rebooking

There will be no need to rebook your childs classes as lessons are continuous throughout the year. Your childs place will only be secure if payment has been received by the dates indicated above. If a payment has not been received and we have tried to contact you and receive no reply Little bubbles will remove you from our class list and the space will be offered out to anyone on our waiting list.

Pool closure.

In the unlikely event the pool not being able to be used due to technical difficulties or health and safety issues Little Bubbles will contact the clients by call or text. In the event of lesson cancellations by little bubbles we will offer a replacement lesson if a replacement lesson cannot be taken a credit will be issued.

Illness and Medical conditions

When booking onto little bubbles your are required to fill in a booking form and on that we ask you to provide us with any details of medical issues that may affect you or your child learning to swim from time to time your baby/child may get a runny nose or cold and many parents ask if they should still come to their lesson. We will always ask you to determine if they are well enough in themselves to attend the lesson. However, if your child has a lot of mucus and a high temperature we would advise you not to attend. We also ask that you do not attend if your child has been unwell with sickness or had diarrhoea within the last 72 hours.

Changing Rooms.

Little Bubbles asks that everyone respects our facilities and ensures to leave the changing room and poolside how they found them.

We ask that you do not bring food, fizzy drinks or chewing gum into the changing rooms or around the pool.

Please ensure any children aged over 8 years changes in the appropriate changing room.

Unfortunately wed o not have space for pushchairs in the changing rooms however you can leave them on the grey floored area in the building.

We have limited changing units/mats so would advise you bring a spare towel or travel mat for your child after your lesson.

Please do not leave your personal items in the changing cubicles as it stops others from using them.

Please do not allow your child to stand on the benches.

Spectators

All children waiting are to be supervised by an adult at all time in the building. No child should be left without an adult on the premises.

Spectators must not walk around poolside or open the gate to sit on the stairs at any point during the lesson.

Spectators should remain quiet at all times whilst watching the swimming lesson.

An disruptive children watching the lesson will be asked to leave/sit down if they are distracting pupils from learning.

Parking

Our parking spaces are located to the front and side of the building and are clearly sign posted.

Parents/ carers must observe any parking regulations that are in force.

Parents/ carers are requested to park with courtesy and respect other users ensuring you do not block any other cars in. please avoid parking on any spaces that are not Little bubbles spaces. Little Bubbles cannot take responsibility if you choose not to park in a little bubbles space.

Complaints

Little bubbles ltd is committed to providing the best service it possibly can to our swimmers and their families, but we also understand that on occasions something may go wrong or you may be unsatisfied by the service provided.

If at any point you are unhappy with the service provided, we would like to know so we can address the issue as soon as possible to resolve it to your satisfaction.

We view all feedback as valuable and important and feedback about the service we provide so any we are given we will use to help improve the service we provide.
